about
‘The Garden’ is about wasting time, dreaming of and worrying about the future, and wanting to abandon everything to find a little piece of land, tucked away from the pressures of the world. You dream of planting a garden full of your favourite flowers and lying in it to escape the bleakness you often feel in the state of the world and by association, day to day life. This song, most of all though, is about embracing growth and tending to your garden, nurturing what brings you joy and letting go of what’s inhibiting your emergence.
